"Tide to Go"

My Friend Debbie     If you've ever wondered if the new "Tide to Go" pens work, I'm here to tell you they do! Several months ago, while at work, my husband unknowingly put his nice Monte Blanc ink pen in his shirt pocket without the cap on. My son, at the time, worked on the same campus and had a "Tide to Go" pen in his car. I had purchased it for him for his college dorm, not knowing if it really worked, but knowing that he would need all the help he could get without my being there to help spot treat his clothes. Actually, he's pretty good at it, but I had wanted to provide any assistance necessary.

It turns out that by using the laundry pen, my husband was able to save his dress shirt. He took the shirt off and used paper towels to dab the big blue ink spot as the "Tide to Go" pen diluted and dissolved the ink until the stain worked its way completely out of the fabric. He was able to put the shirt back on and finish his work day. When he came home, he was so proud of his discovery. We washed the shirt to be sure any residue was gone and sure enough, it was as good as new!

So, now you know, at least from us, that it really can work!
