Making Memories Last

Celebrations throughout the year are always so much fun! It is a delight to share the joys with everyone for all the special occasions. It’s important that we hold onto these memories and keep them strong. The way to keep memories strong and dear is to think of the positive ones and “RE-MEMBER” them, again and again. Speak of your memories and special occasions with fondness and appreciation, thanking the Lord for all the good that he has done, and by counting all the many blessings.

Instead of having expectations that are unrealistic and can’t be met, just enjoy the simple joys of life that have been given for our enjoyment by God as a gift from our creator and Lord and enjoy the laughing, the loving, and the warmth that each soul brings who is created in the image of God.

Sure there will be interruptions, and inconveniences and disappointments along the way that can want to snip away at the joy and cheer of special memories, but declare to turn those over to God and thank him for each mile he has walked with you and each day that he has held your hand and each prayer that he has answered on your behalf, according to his great mercies!!

Reclaim your celebrations this year and bring a praise offering to the Lord!!

Included here are photos of my parents, Rev. J. Howard and Evelyn Reynolds, celebrating their 50th anniversary last July and pictures of our son, Garrett and daughter-n-law, Rachel and their new baby girl, Vivianna Isabelle Harper, on her first Sunday at church just a few weeks ago!! Such a delight!!

     Make your memories last!!!
