Two Tasteful Thanksgiving Tables

The holidays are quickly approaching! Are you ready? It's a time when families gather, tables are dressed and feasts are to be enjoyed! If you're the honored one this year to host Thanksgiving dinner, relax! Really! The key is to plan, prioritize, and pace yourself. Don't try to put Thanksgiving dinner together the night before. Consider whether everyone will bring their favorite dish or whether you will prepare everything your self. Most traditional Thanksgiving recipes can be prepared a few days in advance. Begin sprucing up your home for the season. Replace bowls of summer shells with fall foliage. Vases of summer flower, can be filled with mums in shades of red, yellow and orange. Hang an autumn wreath on the front door! These are all easy but elegant quick changes.

The week of Thanksgiving, go ahead and set your dining table. To help you with your planning, I have set two different tables: one contemporary and one traditional. Both are simple and inexpensive, but tasteful. Use these as inspirations for your own Thanksgiving table! Both centerpieces are beautiful just as they are, and basic enough to build upon with your own additions. Happy decorating and Happy Thanksgiving!
