At The End of the Day

My Friend Debbie
Twenty four hours in a day
To work, to love, to play,
Is there anytime throughout the day
That you will take the time to pray?

With everything you do
What is most important to you?
I hope that each and every day,
It's that you took the time to pray

Worry and pain
Will remain the same
If at the end of the day
You did not take the time to pray.

Waiting on His throne of grace
Waiting for you to take your place
Upon your knees as you say,
"Lord I'm taking the time to pray."

Worry and pain have deceased
Hope restored and so has peace
When at the end of the day
You can say, "I took the time to pray."

Prayer:
Lord, I leave my offerings of praise, worship and prayers before You. It is as a chalice of nectar made pure by Your forgiving grace and mercy.
