Step into Summer with Style
Having a sense of style doesn’t have to cost a fortune! In our family, my husband and I gladly share the clothing budget with our seven children, so there will be enough to go around. Therefore, we always look for good deals and good prices. We like to make sure each person has something fresh for the season to add to the other faithful pieces of their wardrobe.
I am guilty of almost always assuming that a new outfit, new shoes or accessories are more than the budget will allow--but that’s not always the case. My friend, Rachel, found this really cute outfit, pictured here, for a bargain at Cato. She said everything was on the sale rack.
Believe it or not, these cute pink slides were only $6, and the jewelry was priced between $1 and $3 each. Amazing! Since every outfit needs a focal point, the necklace is great!
She told me she got the entire ensemble--blouse, skirt, shoes and jewelry--for less than $35. And she says she always gets everything on sale!
“Time!” you may say. “It takes time to find bargains like that!” Well, according to Rachel, she only had about 15 minutes to go into the store for an outfit and this is what she came out with!!
So, have fun saving money and time… and “step into summer with style!”
