Gluten-Free Drop Biscuits


  • 3 C Brown Rice Flour
  • 3 t   Aluminum Free Baking Powder
  • ¼ t Xanthum Gum
  • a pinch of Sea Salt
  • 2 Beaten eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons (T) of Olive Oil or melted butter
  • About 3-4 T of water


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix dry ingredients. 
  3. Pour in oil or butter and cut it into the flour with two knives or pastry cutter until the flour looks beady. 
  4. Add the beaten eggs and mix well.
  5. Add water 1 Tablespoon at a time while stirring until the flour is moisten and sticking together.  Do not make it liquidy.
  6. Take a large serving spoon and spoon the batter onto a greased cookie sheet and placed in the oven for 15 minutes.

*Makes about 12 medium Biscuits
