Spring Snow at the Beach

Ahhhhhhhhh Spring, Why is it snowing?

When I think of spring, I think of Jonquils, Daffodils, birds heralding the beginning of spring, yet I look out the window and to my dismay, there is snow on the ground.  Still, I will celebrate the season anyway.

We are spending time on the Outer Banks, Nags Head, North Carolina.

Our feet are propped up by the fire as the snow is gently falling outside.

The sun finally came out, time for a stroll on the beach.

We found a washed-up piece of a ship.

It warms up so much, we can have our devotions on the deck.

"Take time to be still in My Presence.  The more hassled you feel, the more you need this sacred space of communion with Me.  Breathe slowly and deeply.  Relax in My holy Presence while My Face shines upon you. This is how you receive My Peace, which I always proffer to you.

Imagine the pain I feel when My children tie themselves up in anxious knots, ignoring My gift of Peace.  I died a criminal’s death to secure this blessing for you.  Receive it gratefully; hide it in your heart.  My Peace is an inner treasurer, growing within you as you trust in Me.  Therefore, circumstances cannot touch it.  Be still, enjoy Peace in My Presence."

Psalm 46:10; Numbers 6:25-26

Devotions for Every Day of the Year—Sarah Young—Jesus Calling

Precious, our cat enjoys her stay at Nags Head, as well.  She thinks this is her personal bedroom.

Nothing is better than having fresh lobster tails.

and our good friend Winn visits with us.
