A Cry of Loneliness

Time

Moves slowly
Seconds, minutes, hours
Days slip by un-noticed
Life lived in a vacuum
I am one, I am alone
No one sees me, no one cares
Someone look into the vacuum, I am here
Can't you hear my silent cry, see my tears
Please! Can't anyone hear? Doesn't anyone see? Won't anyone help?
I sense a presence, a voice calls to me
Light pierces the darkness in which I live
Someone heard my cry, saw my tears
The stench of loneliness is gone
Someone has pierced the vacuum
Your hand touches me
My soul responds
Thank you
Friend
