A Touch of Heaven for Baby Aaron

It was a first baby, a little boy, a long-awaited gift! Soon to arrive!!  It was a father who felt helpless and powerless to fix the problem that the doctors had declared would take the baby’s life as soon as he was born, or render the little one a life-sentence without a functioning brain. It was a tender-hearted, loving mother who only wanted God’s best for the little lamb she carried. They had it in their hearts to give the baby the name Aaron upon His birth.

A Touch of Heaven     In Scottsdale, Arizona, earlier this year, a family desperately asked for God’s grace and intervention in the news of their soon-to-be-born baby's life-threatening illness!

They called upon the elders of the church to pray and ask God for His unfailing mercies! They anointed the expectant mother, Nicole, with anointing oil and prayed to the Living God of Heaven, that He would hear their prayers and that He would be merciful to allow the unborn baby’s brain to heal and to be made whole.

With tears of compassion everyone prayed and cried out to God on a Wednesday night chapel service. The men then gathered around the baby’s dad and asked God to grant Him a supernatural portion of faith, boldness and perseverance to endure the challenge and to trust God completely with the outcome for his wife and child.

Then, the day came for Baby Aaron to be born. Our three little boys, Grayson, Graham, and Galen, then several thousand miles away, bowed their hearts in prayer and read from the scriptures of how Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead to life. They praised God for His miracle-working power and they asked God to hear the prayers of everyone who had prayed for little Aaron, and to everyone’s amazement we received the good news that Baby Aaron was born well and whole with no life-threatening brain illnesses, and we all rejoiced with heaven’s angels that we serve a God who is all-powerful to intervene in the lives of human beings!!  To God be all the glory!!
