Education Vacation

Editor’s Note:

This is one of the three categories for this issue that has been selected to present a young person’s perspective on the topic. I think you will find it fascinating and delightful to explore what the young minds have to offer. Please feel free to send us your comments as you respond to what they have to say. The categories of 1) Education, 2) Fashion, and 3) Friendships have been offered from a young person’s perspective and in their original words. The titles were also their ideas, and no additional information was added from an adult. We hope you enjoy!!

Education Vaction

 by: Grayson Harper, age 11

Education is a wonderful thing. Many people benefit from it. People get good jobs because they were educated. Some people even become educators themselves.

People get educated by going to school. Many kids do not like school because they think it's boring. But what they don't realize is that they are learning many good things that they will need later in life. The thing that we all ned to learn is the Bible.

You can learn many good things from the Bible. Like how to love and how to forgive. You can learn things anywhere. Like the mall, the store, or at home. So you see, all these things you can benefit from being educated.

Education can also be like a vacation. You can learn on a vacation. I know it sounds strange, but it's true. You can even have a vacation in your mind while learning. You can imagine what it would have been like for Columbus when he discovered America or when Paul and Silas were in prison and God set them free.

You can have a vacation while doing your math, science, language, history, or spelling. So you see, you can have an education vacation while learning.
