Apple Crumb Pie

My Friend DebbieMomma's Quick and Easy Apple Crumb Pie by Patricia Vera      My mother had shortcuts I never knew about. This pie, although so easy to make, was in such high demand over the holidays that it was gone in a matter of minutes, and if you were in the bathroom, you missed it. Enjoy!!

Ingredients:

  • 9" Pillsbury pie crust
  • 4 Gala or Fuji apples, peeled and sliced thin
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Topping:
  • 3/4 stick of butter, softened but not melted (about 6 tbsp)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour

Preheat oven to 375. In medium bowl combine butter, sugar and flour to a crumbly texture. Place apples in the pie crust, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the apples, then spread topping over top. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes, then 350 for 30 minutes. It's so good you almost feel guilty that it was so easy to make. Enjoy!
