Kerriél Bailey, Esq.

Kerriel BaileyKerriél was born and raised in Southern California, but after visiting her Grandmother in Charlotte, NC after her first son's birth, realized she was really a different kind of southerner. Although she was content living in the Los Angeles area, she knew God had big plans for her. Part of that plan was to bring her to Virginia which she now calls home.

Kerriél has been married to her beloved husband and best friend Kurt for the past 22 years. They have two amazing sons, Aaron (age 20) & Benjamin (age 16) and a wonderful new daughter-in-law, Bethany. As the mother of sons, she is affectionately known as "The Queen!" The Baileys have home-schooled their children throughout their lives.

Inspired by her dear sister-in-law, Kim, who returned to school to earn a college education, and needing to keep up with her incredibly intelligent kids, Kerriél returned to college. Her goal was to earn her Associate's and Bachelor's degrees in 10 years while home-schooling her sons and working part-time. Kerriél did achieve that goal, graduating with her Associate degree in Philosophy with highest honors and her Bachelor's degree in Political Science summa cum laude as number one in her class. Not only did she accomplish that goal two years early, she also went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Regent University School of Law where she received the "Most Inspirational Graduate" award. That was God's big plan to finally move them to the southeast! Kerriél successfully passed the Virginia Bar Exam in July and is now a licensed Virginia lawyer. She is awaiting licensure in Washington DC.

Kerriél promised the Lord that she would write a book one day about HIS-story of her life; all the adversity and amazing adventures the Lord has brought her through. The articles featured here are a part of the story telling process. She desires to be used fully by God to teach, bless and equip other believers, especially women, to seek the Lord in all they do and stand strong regardless of the circumstances.
